When it comes to compressing Just Rich’s vocals, we turned to the legendary 1176 and LA-2A compressors. The 1176 provides fast, aggressive compression on the main vocal that adds energy and impact, while the LA-2A’s smooth, transparent compression on the backup vocals helps to even out the levels and add warmth.
For the mix bus, we used the API 2500+ to provide dynamic control and tone shaping to the overall mix. This powerful compressor adds punch and clarity to the mix, making it sound fuller and more cohesive.
